Why this induction hob earns its place
The Buffalo SA807 is built for everyday cooking when a working kitchen needs four serious induction zones in one freestanding unit. With 11 power levels on each zone, it gives cooks the control to boil, fry, simmer and sauté without the exposed elements or naked flames of a traditional hob.
When service needs a fast lift, the boost function provides up to 3 kW. Induction puts more of the energy into the pan, and the manufacturer states that the 600 Series can be up to 70% more efficient than gas. Less heat escaping into the room can also help create a more comfortable cooking environment and reduce the load on ventilation systems.
The toughened ceramic glass surface and stainless steel construction are made for straightforward end-of-service cleaning. The base brings the hob to an ergonomic working height and adds storage space for induction-compatible pots, pans or utensils. It can also be used as a countertop appliance or positioned on a 600 mm wide 600 Series cupboard, sold separately.
