Why this induction hob earns its place
The Blue Seal IN514R5-B is a four zone countertop induction hob designed for professional kitchens that want serious output in a modular format. It measures 315(H) x 900(W) mm, weighs 105 kg gross and uses stainless steel construction with a silver finish, so it is built to sit cleanly into a busy line.
It is rated at 20,000 W and runs on 400/415V three-phase power. Blue Seal says the four high performance 5kW zones heat quickly and can be controlled precisely with the front-mounted dials, which makes the hob suited to boiling, simmering, sautéing or frying.
The unit also uses a 6 mm thick ceramic glass cooking surface and automatic pan detection, so the hob only heats when a pot or pan is detected. Blue Seal adds that the countertop design and easy-to-clean surface make it straightforward to maintain in demanding kitchens.
