THE WORKING VIEW

Why this boiling table earns its place

The Blue Seal Evolution Cooktop in eight-burner configuration is raw cooking power: eight independent open burners in 1200 mm of footprint, designed for high-volume sauce work, stockpot boils, and anywhere you need every available burner burning simultaneously. There's no griddle here—just thermal muscle. The 812 mm depth follows the Evolution design principle: engineered for kitchens where floor space is a constraint but output cannot be negotiated.

Built from the same Evolution series that powers the smaller configurations, this unit prioritises continuous workspace. When multiple units are lined up, the flat cooktop surface flows seamlessly from one to the next. All-silver stainless finish, mounted on a sturdy stand at a 1085 mm working height that puts your burners at comfortable hand height. The LPG version is essential for sites without a mains gas connection—event kitchens, rural locations, or any setup where bottled gas is already the infrastructure.

At 56 kW thermal input on LPG, this is a serious cooking appliance. Eight burners mean you're not queuing for heat; every station can be active simultaneously. LPG burns slightly hotter than natural gas, so boil recovery is rapid and pan temperatures climb quickly. The 2-year parts-and-labour warranty protects your investment; optional one-year extension available from purchase.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions, answered straight

Eight burners give you maximum pan-cooking capacity—every burner independent, every one capable of rapid boils or controlled simmers. If your menu is primarily pan-based (sauces, soups, stockpots, rapid boiling), eight burners is pure efficiency. The griddle would only sit unused. If you do significant griddle work (bacon, burgers, pancakes), the six-burner-plus-griddle model is the better choice.

Depends entirely on your menu, but realistically 80–120 covers per service. If 70% of your dishes rely on pan work and sauces, eight burners gives you the thermal muscle to run them without queue. Batch-cooking operations (contract catering kitchens) often run the same menu continuously, which suits eight burners perfectly.

LPG bottles (typically 6, 12, or 47 kg cylinders depending on usage) connect via a regulator and quick-disconnect to the stand. If you later get a mains gas supply, the natural gas equivalent is the same physical unit with different gas jets in the burner heads. Call us on 01792 732702 to arrange the swap.

Yes. The shallow depth is the Evolution design philosophy—kitchens with narrow passes or tight floor plans benefit from gear that doesn't eat space front-to-back. 1200 mm wide by 812 mm deep is compact for eight burners of this quality. 1085 mm tall puts the burners at comfortable working height.

134 kg gross weight, distributed across a stand footprint. A standard commercial kitchen floor (reinforced concrete or tile over timber) handles it easily. The stand feet are designed to sit flat and stable—no special reinforcement usually required. If your floor is particularly soft or uneven, tell us when you order and we'll discuss floor preparation.

The natural gas equivalent is the same physical unit—48 kW instead of 56 kW. Mains gas is cheaper to run and simpler (no bottle swaps), so if you have a mains connection, use it. LPG is your choice when there's no mains gas available. Both are certified and reliable; the thermal input difference is marginal in day-to-day cooking.
