The Blue Seal Evolution Cooktop 2 is a two-ring hob that brings control and flexibility to any kitchen short on space. Built in stainless steel with a silver finish, it's built to work as a standalone unit or line up seamlessly with other Evolution equipment to create a continuous workspace. The compact 300mm width is deceptive — you get two independent boiling rings with separate controls, so you can simmer soup on one while bringing stock to the boil on the other.
Electric hobs suit kitchens on single-phase supply and those that need instant, precise control. The 4800W input gives you the power to bring liquids to a boil quickly, then dial back for a gentle simmer. Unlike gas, there's no lag: turn it on, and you have heat immediately. Temperature is thermostat-controlled, so there's no guesswork — the element maintains consistent heat without the attention that an open flame demands.
The 812mm depth means you're not crammed into a corner. There's proper working space at the hob, room to manoeuvre pans, and room to stand while you're cooking.
