Why this countertop fryer earns its place
The Roller Grill RF8 sits between a desktop tabletop unit and a full-size cooker — deep enough to let oil heat through without sloshing, but narrow enough to squeeze into a tight counter or food truck. Its 8-litre tank delivers a steady 13 kg/hr of fresh chips, which translates to a fryer-basket every 3–4 minutes, ideal for venues that do light-to-medium frying without the constant high-volume churn.
Stainless steel construction and a simple one-tank design keep things reliable. The multi-level basket drains excess oil before you lift it, so your floor stays clean and your oil lasts longer. The integral fish plate means you can flip between basket-fried chips and direct-plate frying for larger pieces — doughnuts, fillets, or sausages all get the same even heat to 190°C and rely on a thermostat lock at 180°C.
Gas firing via LPG and piezo ignition keeps setup straightforward. No three-phase wiring, no mains gas booking, just a propane bottle swap when you're empty. The drainage tap has a safety lock to prevent spills, and a single-tank design means one clear draining point rather than juggling multiple feeds.
