Why this free standing fryer earns its place
The Parry NPSPF6 is engineered for output from a footprint. A 9-litre tank and 6000 W electric element work together to hold temperature and recover fast — once a basket drops, you're back to frying temperature in seconds, not minutes. That speed translates to 28 kg of finished product per hour, which is competitive with much larger twin-basket setups. If your fryer sits in a confined line (a narrow chip shop counter, a small pub kitchen, a food truck), this is the single unit that doesn't compromise on volume.
The pedestal design stacks the frying chamber high (1065 mm from floor to basket rim) so staff work at a comfortable height. The single basket means you're pressing batches rather than juggling multiple stages — which actually suits the rhythm of most short-order work. Temperature runs 50 to 200 °C; most frying sits at 160–180 °C, leaving room to adjust for delicate items or deep crisping. Thermostat control means the element cycles automatically to hold your set point.
Cleaning is built into the design. Switch off, let the oil cool, open the safety drain valve at the bottom of the tank, drain into a bucket, raise the heating elements clear of the pan, and wipe the interior dry. No baffles to trap old oil, no hidden chambers — just the tank, the elements, and access. Stainless-steel construction handles the heat and the cleaning regimen, and the 2-year parts and labour warranty covers normal frying use.
