Why this free standing fryer earns its place
The Lincat Opus 800 Free Standing Electric Filtration Fryer DM521 is built for kitchens that need a compact twin-tank fryer with filtration built in. At 400 mm wide, it gives you two 21 litre tanks, two baskets and a stated output of 55 kg/hr, making it a practical choice when you need throughput and separation without moving to a wider fryer body.
It is made from stainless steel in a silver finish and weighs 88 kg. The fryer runs on 230/240V with a 14,000 W rated input and can be supplied on single or three phase, so it has the electrical flexibility expected of a serious commercial unit. The temperature range runs from 90 to 190 °C.
Pumped filtration is the headline feature here. Lincat says the oil can be filtered and the fryer ready to fry again in under 5 minutes, even while hot, which helps keep service moving and extends oil life. Twin pumps keep the oil from each tank fully segregated to avoid cross contamination, so this model is built for kitchens that need separate frying zones as well as speed and control.
