Why this free standing fryer earns its place
The Lincat Opus 800 Free Standing Electric Filtration Fryer DM520 is built for kitchens that want the same twin-tank, pumped-filtration format as the wider fryer in a 400 mm footprint. It gives you two 21 litre tanks, two baskets and a stated output of 55 kg/hr, so it is a good fit where throughput matters but space is tighter.
It is made from stainless steel in a silver finish and weighs 84 kg. The unit runs on 400V with a 14,000 W rated input and is listed as three phase, which places it firmly in the category of serious commercial frying equipment. The temperature range runs from 90 to 190 °C.
Lincat says this fryer is designed to cope with the everyday rigours of a busy commercial kitchen, with heavy duty performance, excellent reliability, accurate control, super fast recovery, simple operation and easy cleaning. Pumped filtration means the oil can be filtered and the fryer ready to fry again in under 5 minutes, even while hot, while twin pumps keep the oil from each tank fully segregated to avoid cross contamination.
