Why this free standing fryer earns its place
If you need the Precision 422's performance but your electrical infrastructure is tighter than a full 22 kW draw allows, this variant delivers the same twin-tank precision at 18 kW. Oil temperature still holds within ±1°C, your batches still cook to the same standard every time, and oil absorption still drops because temperature doesn't drift during service. The only trade-off is slightly more modest heating reserve—you won't feel it in normal service, but recovery after a very large drop will be marginally slower than the higher-wattage model.
The twin-tank architecture stays the same: one tank handles service while the other gets cleaned or filtered. The xFri filter system still works in under five minutes. Adaptive cooking still adjusts for batch size. The digital timer, buzzer, and optional LiftFri automatic basket lifting are all there. What changes is the constraint on your electrical panel—18 kW three-phase instead of 22 kW.
For kitchens in older buildings, shared commercial spaces, or venues where peak loads are already tight, this is a genuine option. You get full Precision 422 capability without the electrical upgrade. Stainless steel build, pressed tanks, radiused corners for easy cleaning—all the durability is there. The 15-litre capacity and standard footprint (397.5 mm × 650 mm) means it slots into the same counter space as any 422.
