Why this countertop fryer earns its place
The Roller Grill RFE12 is a workhorse electric fryer for kitchens with three-phase power and frying ambitions. Twelve litres of oil and 9 kW of heating capacity push it to deliver 25 kg/hr of fresh chips — nearly double the output of a typical gas countertop unit — which means consistent service flow during lunch and dinner without running both tanks at once.
The real saver here is the cold zone: the heating elements don't sit on the tank floor but hang above a small reservoir of oil beneath them. Burnt crumbs and debris sink to this cooler zone instead of scorching in the direct heat, so your oil stays cleaner longer and colour stays better shift to shift. Stainless steel construction is built for daily washdown; at 465 mm wide and 400 mm deep, it fits a standard service counter or sits on the optional Roller Grill cabinet.
Electrical safety is baked in. The unit has independent thermostats: one for normal operation (at 180°C) and a second as backup, plus a safety microswitch that kills the elements if the basket isn't seated correctly. Heat-resistant basket handle and safety taps for drainage mean you're not going to accidentally scald yourself or flood oil across the floor. Stainless steel drain points make clean-down fast.
