Why this countertop fryer earns its place
The F898 is a countertop electric fryer from Lincat's Silverlink 600 range, designed for efficiency and performance with front-mounted controls and easy-care features. It is built around a single 20 litre tank and comes with three baskets, so it is set up for useful day-to-day frying rather than a token small-capacity spec.
Lincat says the fryer has thermostatic control with a fail-safe cut-out, front drain taps and a deep cool zone to collect debris. Those are the details that matter in a real kitchen, because they make the fryer easier to manage during service and easier to bring back into shape afterwards.
It runs on a three-phase 230/400V supply with a rated input of 6000 W and a temperature range from 130 to 190 °C. The published output is 18 kg/hr of frozen chips or 26 kg/hr of chilled chips, and the unit measures 330 x 600 x 632 mm with a gross weight of 22 kg.
