Why this single door upright fridge earns its place
The SD1380 is a white single-door upright fridge built for chilled storage where floor space is tight. Behind one hinged solid door sit five adjustable white wire shelves, so you can stack a working day's stock and re-space the shelves as your lines change. It is a straightforward back-of-house cabinet for cafés, bars and small kitchens that need reliable storage without a large footprint.
Control is by a mechanical dial, which keeps setting and adjustment simple for any member of the team, and the cabinet is rated climate class 4 for warm back-of-house ambients. On energy it carries an energy class D label and uses 657 kWh a year, which works out at about £164 a year to run at 25p/kWh. It uses R600a refrigerant.
The cabinet measures 595 × 640 × 1840 mm, so at 595 mm wide it passes through a standard single doorway on delivery. Internally you get 470 × 440 × 1555 mm of usable height and width for your shelves. It weighs 70 kg packed and 64 kg installed, and runs from a standard 13 amp socket at 220-240 V, so no special supply is needed.
