Why this single door upright fridge earns its place
The GUC70 is a single-door upright fridge for everyday chilled storage back of house. It gives you 537 litres gross and 395 litres net across three shelves, with a stainless steel exterior and interior and a gastronorm-compatible interior. A slim 680 mm-wide body makes it easy to slot into a tight line without giving up usable capacity.
It holds +2 to +8 °C with ventilated cooling, which keeps temperature even from top to bottom, and an electronic controller for precise setting. It runs on R290 refrigerant with automatic electric defrost and carries a climate class 4 rating, so it holds temperature in warm kitchens. Rated energy class C at 445.3 kWh a year, it costs about £111 a year at 25p/kWh, and measured noise is 45 dB.
The cabinet measures 680 × 845 × 2000 mm and ships packed at 720 × 880 × 2050 mm, so check your access route before delivery — gross weight is 145 kg. It runs from a standard 13A supply at 220-240V 50Hz, drawing 255W, with a 90 g charge of R290.
