Why this counter fridges/freezer earns its place
The Williams VSWCD1 is a single Chef's Drawer unit that puts bulk fresh or frozen storage at low level, right next to a prime cooking station, so kitchen staff aren't walking to a walk-in for stock mid-service. It holds one 2×1 GN drawer (150mm maximum depth) and suits pubs, steakhouses and catering kitchens working in a tight footprint.
Net capacity is 47 litres, and the set point is adjustable between chilled and frozen temperatures depending on what the drawer's holding that week. It runs on a 230V supply and carries an Energy Class D rating at 1741 kWh a year, EEI 65.5%, built to Climate Class 4 so it holds its temperature reliably on a working line rather than in a lab.
R290 natural refrigerant drives the system, tested at build with high-performance helium leak testing, and the drawer is stainless steel inside and out with magnetic balloon gaskets for a full tight seal. CoolSmart control manages day-to-day temperature, and precision-injected polyurethane insulation, low GWP and zero ODP, is rated to operate efficiently up to 43°C ambient. It carries a 2-year warranty and weighs 71kg gross.
