Why this drawer fridge earns its place
This is a refrigerated counter built for the prep line. One hinged door section and a two-drawer bank sit under a continuous stainless-steel worktop, giving you 257 litres of chilled storage in a 900mm-wide footprint — right where the chef actually works rather than back at a separate fridge. The internal compartment is 830mm wide and 595mm deep, sized to slot into a tight service line without dominating the pass.
The drawers give quick, repeated access to portioned components mid-service, while the door section holds trays and bulkier containers. Both run at +2 to +8°C — the standard chilled band — so mise en place stays food-safe through a busy shift. It uses R600A refrigerant and automatic defrost, so there is no ice build-up to clear; the static cooling with fan circulation keeps temperature consistent through the internal space.
At 91 kg and 875mm tall, it is designed to line up with adjacent counters as part of a fitted run. It draws just 0.34 kW and runs quietly at 48 dB(A), so it won't dominate the kitchen acoustic. Check doorway and corridor access on the delivery route before it arrives, level the unit on site, and leave clearance for ventilation behind and beneath the condenser.
