Why this counter fridges/freezer earns its place
The Adande VCM2/CW is a pass-through counter with two drawers at 1120 mm wide and 710 mm deep, holding chilled or frozen product right where it is used. Cooks pull stock without leaving the prep line to fetch it from elsewhere in the kitchen, and the drawers keep the cold contained each time they open.
Pass-through access means the counter can be loaded from one side and worked from the other — useful where prep and service share the same run, since the unit is restocked from the back while the front stays free for picking during a rush. The 86-litre capacity in two independent drawers suits meat prep, deli and larder work, as well as pastry and dessert prep, and it holds both chilled and frozen product at temperatures from −22 °C to +15 °C. That two-sided access also suits a layout where one team preps and another team plates, without either side crossing the other's path.
The unit weighs 164 kg and is built in stainless steel with 25 mm insulation. It's designed to sit within a bank of counters as a fixed part of the back-of-house line rather than a standalone cabinet, so plan its position early in the layout. Check clearance on both the loading side and the working side, confirm the worktop height matches the rest of the run, and verify electrical (230V single phase) before the install goes ahead.
