Why this double door counter fridge earns its place
The GC72 is a refrigerated prep counter that doubles as a chilled worktop and an under-counter store for a working line. Behind two hinged, self-closing doors sit two white wire shelves and 272 litres of usable space, all in stainless steel inside and out. It is Gastronorm compatible, so pans drop straight in from prep to service without decanting.
The cabinet holds -2 to +10 °C on ventilated cooling with automatic defrost and an electronic controller, so temperature stays even across a full shelf without manual intervention. It runs at 42 dB, quiet enough for a front-of-house counter, and carries a climate class 4 rating for warm, busy kitchens. At energy class B and 722.7 kWh a year, expect running costs of about £181 a year at 25p/kWh.
Internally it offers 282 litres gross and 272 litres net, with a net weight of 94 kg. It ships packed at 1405 × 750 × 1010 mm, so measure doorways and lift routes before delivery day. Power is a standard 13 A supply at 300 W input, and cooling uses R600a refrigerant with a 95 g charge.
