Why this double door counter fridge earns its place
The Blizzard HBC2NU is a twin hinged-door counter refrigerator built without the rear upstand fitted to Blizzard's standard counter fridge — useful where the counter sits under an existing worktop or splashback rather than needing its own raised lip. At 1360 × 700 × 850mm, it's lower than the upstand version, and holds 282 litres gross across two doors.
Two adjustable shelves organise the cabinet, and an even, ducted air distribution system keeps both compartments at consistent temperature. Cooling is ventilated, run through a Dixell digital controller, and the unit draws its supply through a standard 13-amp connection, rated at 215 kWh a year — a controlled running cost for continuous duty through service.
Build is stainless steel exterior and interior, rated climate class 4 and running at 42dB. Both doors are self-closing with a dwell position for hands-free loading and fitted with replaceable gaskets, with internal corners rounded for easier cleaning. The refrigerant is R290, defrost is automatic, and the 128kg unit sits on lockable heavy-duty castors. It's available with a 2 or 3 drawer option in place of the doors.
