Why this counter freezer earns its place
The Polar U-Series triple-door counter freezer is a counter-height frozen storage unit that lines up along a prep run, putting 280 litres of net frozen storage under a working top. At 1795 mm wide, 700 mm deep and 960 mm high, it's a long, shallow footprint that fits a standard counter run without jutting out into the kitchen. The rear upstand is a raised lip along the back — it stops spills and stock sliding off when the unit is pushed against a wall.
It carries a climate class 4 rating, so it is built to hold -10 to -20 °C even in the warm, busy conditions of a working line rather than a cool store room. Three doors split the cabinet into sections, letting staff reach one section at a time and keep the rest of the load shut and cold during service. With three shelves inside, you can lay out stock by prep stage or protein type.
The unit is built on 60 mm insulation and runs on R290 low-GWP refrigerant, pulling 750 W at steady state. As a counter-height unit it forms part of a worktop run rather than standing full height. Plan the door swings and a level, ventilated position when siting it — it needs clear airflow around the cooling side.
