Why this counter freezer earns its place
The Polar G600 is a triple-door counter freezer from the U-Series range, built for kitchens that need serious frozen storage at worktop height. Rated a 417-litre-class cabinet with 280 litres of net frozen storage across three adjustable shelves, it suits high-demand kitchens running three separate frozen product lines side by side rather than one shared compartment.
It runs -20°C to -10°C on R290 refrigerant, drawing 750W from a 230V supply, and carries an Energy Class D rating at 2920 kWh a year, EEI 74%. Cooling is ventilated forced air with a 1/1 GN compatible interior for rapid filling, and automatic defrost keeps performance steady between busy services. Like the rest of the U-Series, it's built to hold temperature reliably even in ambients up to 43°C.
Each of the three doors has its own removable door seal for simple cleaning, and the front panel gives direct access to the air filter, so there's no need to move the freezer to keep it clean. The stainless steel worktop provides genuine extra prep space, or is sturdy enough to carry a countertop blast chiller, sous vide machine or microwave. Digital controls make temperature regulation straightforward, and solid, self-closing doors on all three sections cut temperature loss between openings. It weighs 136kg gross and carries a 2-year parts and labour warranty.
