Why this upright freezer earns its place
The True TGN-1F-1S FA033 is a single-door upright storage freezer built around 2/1 gastronorm at full height—2079 mm tall, 729 mm wide, 858 mm deep. It holds 700 litres of bulk frozen stock at -23 to -18 °C in the back of house, away from the prep line, on three gastronorm shelves. With 435 litres of net capacity and R290 refrigerant with forced-air cooling, it consolidates a kitchen's frozen holding in one fixed location rather than scattered across the kitchen floor.
A single full-height door opens onto a footprint just 729 mm wide, so trays and containers load to the gastronorm standard the kitchen already runs without rearranging. The C energy rating means roughly 1,391 kWh per year; use the energy label decoder to model running cost on your tariff. At 150 kg and single-phase 230V, it connects like any worktop outlet.
It is a free-standing upright that needs dedicated floor space and clear door swing rather than a counter gap. The tall profile (just over 2 metres) fits most kitchens, but confirm ceiling height, doorway access and clear space around it for thermostat air flow before install.
