Why this single door commercial upright freezer earns its place
The UFFS371SD is a single-door upright freezer built for back-of-house frozen storage in a working kitchen. It offers 300 litres gross and 270 litres net, split across six fixed freezing shelves behind one hinged solid door, in a white cabinet inside and out. The solid door and vertical layout keep frozen stock organised, rotated and out of the way in the prep line or store room.
Day to day it holds -24 to -14 °C using static cooling and a mechanical controller, so operation is straightforward with no touchscreen to learn. Defrost is manual, so build a defrost into your cleaning routine rather than expecting the cabinet to clear itself. It runs at 40 dB and carries a climate class 4 rating, which suits the warmer, busier ambient of a commercial kitchen. At 788.4 kWh a year (energy class B) it costs about £197 a year to run at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 595 × 600 × 1840 mm (W×D×H) and packs to 660 × 680 × 2000 mm, so check your delivery route against the packed width before it arrives. It weighs 100 kg gross and 95 kg net. Power is a standard 13-amp supply drawing 270 W at 220-240 V, and cooling uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with an 85 g charge.
