Why this single door commercial upright freezer earns its place
The INOMAK CBP172SL is a slim upright freezer for kitchens that need a full-height frozen store without a wide footprint. It gives 560 litres of gross capacity behind a single hinged door, with four shelves for organising boxed, bagged and prepped frozen stock.
The cabinet operates from -10 to -22 °C with ventilated cooling, automatic defrost and a digital controller with temperature display. Climate class 5, plus the manufacturer's stated +43 °C ambient capability, makes it suitable for warm commercial kitchens where domestic-grade freezers struggle. It uses R290 refrigerant, described by the manufacturer as natural refrigerant with zero ODP and GWP 3.
The build is high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel with a hygienic interior, clip-on guides for faster cleaning, LED lighting, a removable magnetic gasket, a reversible self-closing door and a lock as standard. It measures 720 mm wide, 768 mm deep and 2115 mm high, weighs 144 kg and runs from a 13amp supply at 598 W. Castors are supplied for fitting on site, so plan the delivery route, final position and airflow clearance before it arrives.
