Why this walk-in fridge earns its place
The Tefcold CRPF3030 is a walk-in chiller room for kitchens and food businesses that need a proper cold store rather than a wall of upright fridges. Its 2840 × 2840 × 2040 mm internal footprint gives you a room to walk into, shelve out and rotate stock in — deliveries, prepped batches and bulk ingredients held in one controlled space. It arrives as a modular kit with the motor unit, panels and shelving to build on site.
In use it holds chilled product across a 0 to +8 °C band under an electronic controller, so the temperature stays where it is set instead of drifting with manual adjustment. Defrost is automatic and hot-gas, clearing the evaporator on its own cycle without shutting the room down. The condensing unit runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 200 g charge and sits at a measured 60 dB while running.
The room draws power at 220-240 V / 50 Hz on a 960 W input, keeping it on a standard commercial single-phase supply. Access is through one hinged solid door 700 mm wide by 1,845 mm high — check that against your delivery route and doorways, since the assembled room weighs 830 kg gross. Both internal and external finishes are white throughout.
