Why this walk-in fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD CRPF2130 is a walk-in chiller room built to give a busy kitchen a single dedicated cold store rather than a spread of upright fridges. The 1940 × 2840 × 2040 mm internal footprint (W×D×H) holds deliveries, bulk ingredients and staged prep behind one door, keeping the working line clear. White interior and exterior throughout means the panels wipe down for back-of-house hygiene.
It runs a 0 to +8 °C chilled band under an electronic controller, with automatic hot-gas defrost keeping the evaporator clear so there is no manual defrost to schedule. The system uses R290 refrigerant with a 170 g charge and a rated sound level of 60 dB. Energy use is rated at 8541 kWh a year — about £2135 a year at 25p/kWh — a fixed running cost worth sizing against your real stock volume.
The single hinged solid door is 700 mm wide and 1845 mm high, the clearance to work your delivery route and doorways around. The room weighs 531 kg net and 561 kg gross, and runs from a standard 220-240 V/50 Hz supply. It ships as flat panels for cam-lock assembly on site, so the room is built where it stands.
