Why this walk-in fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD CRPF2127 is a walk-in chiller room sized for busy operations that need to store cases, trays and bulk chilled stock by the load rather than the shelf. Internally it measures 1940 × 2540 × 2040 mm (W×D×H), a floor big enough for racking down both sides and a working aisle, entered through a single hinged solid door 700 mm wide and 1845 mm high.
It holds a chilled band of 0 to +8 °C under electronic control, with automatic hot-gas defrost that clears the evaporator quickly to keep the room stable through heavy door traffic. Rated energy use is 8,541 kWh a year, about £2,135 a year at 25p/kWh, from a 910 W system. Running noise is rated at 60 dB, so site the condenser with staff areas in mind.
The panels are finished white inside and out and the assembled room weighs 591 kg. It runs on 220-240 V, 50 Hz and uses R290, a low-GWP hydrocarbon refrigerant, with a 170 g charge. Plan the room around its internal dimensions, and confirm the delivery route and door-swing clearance before installation.
