Why this walk-in fridge earns its place
The CRPF1515 gives a working kitchen a dedicated cold store rather than a wall of upright fridges. It holds a chilled band of 0 to +8 °C across an internal envelope of 1340 × 1340 × 2040 mm (W×D×H), which is room enough to keep deliveries, prepped stock and back-of-house reserves in one temperature-controlled area. Access is through a single hinged solid door, 700 mm wide and 1845 mm high, sized to take trays and trolleys.
Day to day, an electronic controller manages the set temperature and runs automatic hot-gas defrost, so the room clears frost without manual intervention and holds its band through service. The refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 130 g charge and draws 830 W. Running noise is rated at 60 dB, and at 6545 kWh a year the room costs about £1636 a year at 25p/kWh to run — actual figures move with tariff, ambient and how often the door is opened.
With that internal footprint and a net weight of 279 kg (309 kg gross), plan the delivery route and floor loading before it arrives. Panels are finished in white inside and out. The unit runs on a 220-240V 50Hz supply. The 700 mm door width is the figure to check against your access route and any internal doorways on the way to the install position.
