Why this fridge room earns its place
A walk-in cold room gives a kitchen a whole room of chilled storage you step into, rather than a row of cabinets — one controlled space to hold deliveries, prepped stock and bulk ingredients together. The 1.5 × 2.1m U-Series holds 5,303 litres and is a longer footprint for sites that need more shelved cold storage consolidated into a single room.
Refrigeration is integral to the room, maintaining a steady +2 to +5°C with 80mm insulated panels and R449A refrigeration. There is no separate remote condensing unit to find space for. The cooling is built in and the room runs as one self-contained store. An internal light and 2,037 × 1,280 × 1,880 mm internal space let your team work through stock efficiently.
Because it is panel-built, the first thing to plan is routing the sections through doorways and corridors to where the room will stand, alongside a level floor and where condensate drains away.
