The DS482-CGN is a Polar U-Series integral walk-in cold room with a 1.5 x 1.8m footprint, finished in green and holding 4,483 litres at +2–5°C. It gives a kitchen a dedicated chilled room for bulk deliveries, prepped stock and slow-moving lines that would swamp a run of upright fridges. At 2.2m high and 375kg, it fits most back-of-house layouts and works well for high-covers restaurants, food producers and caterers.
Because the refrigeration is integral, the cooling pack with R449A refrigerant and fan-assist is built into the room rather than sited remotely, arriving as one self-contained system. The 80mm insulation holds the temperature stable, so you don't need a separate plant room or condensing unit elsewhere. Staff walk in to load and pick, which suits high-turnover back-of-house work and keeps stock rotation and FIFO discipline simple.
The 1.5 x 1.8m external footprint needs a level floor and clear door access for loading — plan the approach for trolleys and deliveries. As an integral room it draws power at its own position rather than needing a separate plant location to wire and service.
