Why this walk-in freezer earns its place
The CRNF3030 is a walk-in freezer room for operations that have outgrown upright cabinets and need bulk frozen storage they can walk into and load properly. Internally it gives 2760 × 2760 × 1960 mm — a room a little under 2.8 metres square — reached through a hinged solid door with a 700 mm-wide, 1765 mm-high opening. An electronic controller sets and holds the temperature.
In use it holds -20 to -10 °C with automatic hot-gas defrost, so the evaporator clears itself without the room being taken offline to thaw. Running noise sits at 60 dB, and it runs on R290 refrigerant with a 200 g charge. The room draws 11,599.7 kWh a year — about £2,900 at 25p/kWh — on a 1630 W input, a figure worth planning bulk frozen storage around from the outset.
On the practical side, the 700 × 1765 mm door opening is the dimension to check trolleys and stillages against before delivery, and the internal 2760 × 2760 × 1960 mm sets how much shelving and stock the room will carry. It connects to a 220–240 V 50 Hz supply on a 13 A circuit, is finished in white inside and out, and weighs 835 kg net (865 kg gross).
