Why this walk-in freezer earns its place
The TEFCOLD CRNF2727 is a large walk-in freezer room built to give a high-volume kitchen a single dedicated frozen store. The 2460 × 2460 × 1960 mm internal footprint (W×D×H) holds bulk frozen deliveries, batch-cooked stock and reserve product behind one door, taking the load off upright freezers on the line. White interior and exterior throughout means the panels wipe down for back-of-house hygiene.
It holds a -20 to -10 °C frozen band under an electronic controller, with automatic hot-gas defrost keeping the evaporator clear so there is no manual defrost cycle to run. The system uses R290 refrigerant with a 200 g charge and a rated sound level of 60 dB. Energy use is rated at 11599.7 kWh a year — about £2900 a year at 25p/kWh — a significant fixed running cost worth sizing carefully against your real frozen volume.
The single hinged solid door is 700 mm wide and 1765 mm high, the clearance to plan your delivery route and doorways around. The room weighs 805 kg net and 835 kg gross, and draws up to 1630 W on a standard 220-240 V/50 Hz supply rated at 13 A. It ships as flat panels for cam-lock assembly on site.
