Why this walk-in freezer earns its place
The CRNF1215 is a walk-in freezer room for holding bulk frozen stock at -20 to -10 °C in back-of-house. It gives a working kitchen 960 × 1260 × 1960 mm of internal space behind a single hinged solid door — room to store trays, cases and frozen production together in one controlled environment rather than juggling several chest units. Finished white inside and out, the surfaces wipe down for routine hygiene.
Day to day, an electronic controller holds the -20 to -10 °C band and defrost is automatic using hot gas, so frost does not accumulate on the evaporator between services. The refrigeration circuit uses R290 with a 150 g charge, draws 1100 W and runs on a 13 A supply. Rated noise is 60 dB. On verified energy use of 8208 kWh a year, running cost is about £2052 a year at 25p/kWh.
The single hinged door opening measures 580 mm wide and 1765 mm high; plan frozen-stock and trolley access around that clear width before siting. Net weight is 320 kg and gross weight 347 kg. It runs on a 220–240 V/50 Hz, 13 A supply, with the R290 circuit carrying a 150 g charge, finished white inside and out with an electronic controller.
