Why this upright wine fridge earns its place
The Tefcold TFW400-S is a commercial upright wine cooler finished in black, presenting stock across 15 wooden wine shelves behind a single hinged glass door. It holds 426 litres gross and 350 litres net, giving front-of-house wine display and storage in one freestanding cabinet with a black ABS interior, and the glass door keeps the range visible to customers.
The cabinet operates across a +5 to +18 °C band, which covers both service-temperature whites and cellar-temperature reds. Automatic defrost and an electronic controller keep it running without manual intervention, it works at a quiet 39 dB for customer-facing positions, and it is rated climate class 4. It uses R600a refrigerant and carries energy class G at 156.9 kWh a year — about £39 a year at 25p/kWh.
Externally the cabinet measures 595 × 680 × 1760 mm with a 515 × 532 × 1585 mm interior, and it ships packed at 650 × 760 × 2000 mm, so check the packed 650 mm width against your tightest access point. It weighs 106 kg net (111 kg gross), runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220–240 V/50 Hz drawing 220 W, and holds a 55 g charge of R600a.
