Why this multideck earns its place
The Slimline Gem is Williams' open-fronted multideck — a self-contained upright display case that presents chilled stock across three tiered shelves behind an open front, so customers serve themselves straight from the cabinet without opening a door. The DP469 is the widest model in the white-finish line at 1856mm across, standing 1765mm tall with a 636mm depth. It holds 560 litres of chilled stock and is sized to run as a single feature bay or to sit in a continuous chilled run along a wall. The open format earns its place on fast-moving lines: chilled drinks, dairy, packaged food-to-go and impulse grab-and-go.
Merchandising is the point of a multideck. An unbroken open front keeps every shelf visible and reachable at the aisle, which is what drives impulse pick-up. The DP469 carries the night-blind option — a blind that pulls down over the open front to cover the display when the shop is closed, so the cabinet is not left open to the room out of trading hours. The cabinet runs at +3 to +5 °C with a forced-air refrigeration system, drawing 1420W and consuming around 19.67 kWh per 24 hours. Stock stays faced and self-serve through the trading day and covered overnight.
The wider footprint means planning the aperture, doorways and delivery route carefully — the 1856mm width and 245kg gross weight need clearance before it arrives. The white exterior wipes down and suits a clean retail or forecourt fit-out. The cabinet carries a 1-year parts and labour warranty.
