Why this multideck earns its place
The Williams Slimline Gem DP468 is an open-fronted multideck that brings chilled stock out to the aisle. At 1510mm wide, 1765mm tall and 636mm deep, it holds 451 litres across three tiered shelves. With no door between the customer and the shelves, it merchandises grab-and-go lines — drinks, dairy, sandwiches and chilled snacks — for fast self-service. The white finish suits a bright retail floor, and it gives a full run of open display in a single cabinet.
Day to day it works as an open display: shoppers reach straight in, so stock stays visible and turns quickly. The cabinet maintains +3 to +5 °C chilled conditions with a forced-air system drawing 1410W, consuming roughly 14.67 kWh per 24 hours. When you close up, the fitted night blind pulls down over the open front to hold the cold air in overnight, then rolls away the next morning so the deck is trading from the moment you open. The night blind cuts the overnight load when the shop is closed.
On footprint, the cabinet's 1510mm width gives a longer merchandising run for busier aisles and higher-throughput positions. Weighing 194kg gross, it needs clear delivery access. The white exterior wipes down as part of a normal cleaning routine, and the cabinet comes with a 1-year parts and labour warranty. It runs at energy class E — use our energy label decoder with the kWh figure in the spec table to calculate running costs on your own tariff.
