The Williams Slimline Gem is an open-fronted multideck from Williams' Slimline range, finished in white and sized at 1250mm wide by 1765mm tall with a 636mm depth. It puts chilled stock on three tiered shelves behind an open front, holding 370 litres — a mid-range capacity that works for many retail formats — so customers pick lines straight off the shelf. The format drives impulse and grab-and-go sales for soft drinks, sandwiches, dairy and chilled snacks. The slimline build fits a productive display without taking up too much floor space.
With no doors between customer and stock, a refrigerated air curtain across the open front holds chilled air at +3 to +5 °C inside the cabinet. The system draws 1370W and runs at approximately 12.41 kWh per 24 hours. Out of trading hours the built-in night blind pulls down across the front to keep that cold air in and ease the load on the refrigeration system while the shop is closed. The white exterior blends into a bright retail floor rather than drawing the eye from the stock.
The unit weighs 180kg gross and works as a standalone bay or lines up against further cabinets to build a longer chilled wall.
