Why this multideck earns its place
The Williams Slimline Gem DP461 is an open-fronted multideck built to bring chilled stock out to the aisle. With no door between the customer and the shelves, it merchandises grab-and-go lines — drinks, dairy, sandwiches and chilled snacks — for fast self-service at +3 to +5 °C. The stainless steel finish sits comfortably on a food-retail floor. At 960mm wide, 636mm deep and just 208kg, its compact profile suits shorter runs and tighter aisles where a full-width multideck won't fit.
Day to day it works as an open display: shoppers reach straight in, so stock stays visible and turns quickly. The cabinet holds 279 litres across 3 shelves and consumes 3650 kWh per year (energy class E). When you close up, the fitted night blind pulls down over the open front to hold the cold air in overnight, then rolls away again the next morning so the deck is trading from the moment you open — the blind also eases the refrigeration load out of hours.
On footprint, its 960mm width keeps the cabinet genuinely compact for narrow layouts and end-of-run positions, while the 636mm depth means it doesn't eat into floor space. The stainless steel exterior wipes down as part of a normal cleaning routine.
