Why this multideck earns its place
The True TAC-27K-HC-LD is an open-fronted multideck display fridge. With no door between the customer and the product, it puts chilled stock on open shelves at eye and hand level for quick self-service, which is why the multideck format earns its place on high-traffic impulse lines — drinks, sandwiches, dairy, snacks and grab-and-go meals. Standing at 1915mm tall and built in aluminium with 43mm insulation, it commands a prominent run on the shop floor while staying light enough to position carefully. The four open tiers give you deep merchandising depth across 241 litres of display.
It offers 241 litres of chilled display space across the deck, so you get several tiers of merchandising in a single run. The cabinet uses R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant, keeping the environmental footprint low. The operating temperature band is 0.5 to 3.3°C, energy rating D at 2826 kWh per year, and climate class 3 — figures set out in the spec table above so you can match the cabinet to the stock and the environment it will sit in. At 152kg and drawing 1012W, ensure your site has suitable power and a level floor to accommodate the footprint (686mm wide, 740mm deep).
Because an open front trades a little more energy for open access, siting matters: keep it clear of draughts and direct heat so it holds temperature efficiently. R290 is a flammable hydrocarbon refrigerant, so servicing should be done by a competent engineer. True backs these cabinets with a 7-year parts-and-labour warranty. Measure the run and the delivery route before it arrives — a loaded multideck is substantial and needs careful placement and connection.
