Why this open fronted multideck fridge earns its place
The Galaxy+ GP26 SS is a large open-fronted multideck for high-volume chilled retail, putting a full 3.83 m² of display in front of customers. Five adjustable shelves and 1258 litres of net volume, from a 2887-litre gross cabinet, give you a substantial wall of stock to merchandise and rotate through a busy day. The mirror stainless steel finish, inside and out, is built for constant handling and repeat cleaning.
Day to day it holds a -1 to +5 °C band on ventilated cooling with automatic defrost, so there is no manual defrost routine to run. An electronic controller manages the temperature, and the cabinet is rated to climate class 3 for typical shop-floor conditions. It runs at 55 dB and carries an energy class E rating; at 10,793 kWh a year that is about £2,698 a year at 25p/kWh — a real figure to budget for at this display area.
The cabinet measures 2580 × 740 × 2040 mm externally and ships packed at 2650 × 770 × 2320 mm, so plan the delivery route carefully — the 2.58 m body width needs wide, clear access. Net weight is 430 kg (460 kg gross), so plan the lift and final positioning. Electrically it takes a 16 A supply at 220-240 V and uses 150 g of R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
