Why this open fronted multideck fridge earns its place
The Galaxy+ GP20 White is an open-fronted multideck for high-volume chilled retail, giving customers a clear 2.87 m² display face with nothing between them and the stock. Five adjustable shelves and 943 litres of net volume, from a 2165-litre gross cabinet, let you merchandise a wide chilled range and rotate it through the day. The white RAL9003 finish, inside and out, gives a clean retail look built for repeat cleaning.
Day to day it holds a -1 to +5 °C band on ventilated cooling with automatic defrost, so there is no manual defrost routine to schedule. An electronic controller manages the temperature, and the cabinet is rated to climate class 3 for typical shop-floor conditions. It runs at 55 dB and carries an energy class D rating; at 7,927.8 kWh a year that is about £1,982 a year at 25p/kWh, worth factoring into the running budget.
The cabinet measures 1955 × 740 × 2040 mm externally and ships packed at 2000 × 770 × 2320 mm, so measure your access route — the near-2 m body width needs wide, clear access. Net weight is 370 kg (392 kg gross), so plan the lift and final positioning. Electrically it takes a 16 A supply at 220-240 V and uses 150 g of R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
