Why this open fronted multideck fridge earns its place
The Galaxy+ GP14 Black is an open-fronted multideck that puts chilled lines in front of customers across a 1.91 m² display face. Five adjustable shelves and 629 litres of net volume, from a 1443-litre gross cabinet, give you room to merchandise a broad chilled range and flex the layout around pack sizes. The black RAL9005 finish, inside and out, gives a bold retail look built for constant handling and repeat cleaning.
Day to day it holds a -1 to +5 °C band on ventilated cooling with automatic defrost, so there is no manual defrost routine to schedule. An electronic controller manages the temperature, and the cabinet is rated to climate class 3 for typical shop-floor conditions. It runs at 55 dB and carries an energy class D rating; at 6,077.2 kWh a year that is about £1,519 a year at 25p/kWh, worth factoring into the running budget for an open-front format.
The cabinet measures 1330 × 740 × 2040 mm externally and ships packed at 1350 × 770 × 2320 mm, so measure your access route — the 1330 mm body width needs a doorway to match. Net weight is 280 kg (298 kg gross), so plan the lift and final positioning. It runs on a 220-240 V, 50 Hz single-phase supply and uses 140 g of R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant; confirm the circuit with your installer.
