Why this multideck earns its place
The Polar U-Series DY395 is an open-fronted multideck display fridge built to merchandise chilled impulse and food-to-go lines. At 950mm wide, it slots into a single bay or the end of a chiller run. The open front puts stock straight in front of the shopper across four tiered shelves, so drinks, snacks and pre-packed food sell themselves without a door in the way — the format retail relies on for grab-and-go turnover.
Because it is open-fronted, there is no door to open or close: shoppers serve themselves and staff restock from the front. That keeps queues moving at peak trade and suits high-footfall aisles where a glass-door unit would slow customers down. It runs as a self-contained multideck with forced-air cooling, so it plugs in and merchandises rather than needing a remote pack. The stainless-steel construction and 20mm insulation help it maintain a consistent chill across the shelves.
At 1950mm tall and 670mm deep, it takes up typical shelving footprint. The cabinet weighs 175kg, runs on 230V single-phase, and sits at Energy Class E with 3153 kWh annual consumption — worth running through our energy label decoder to see the cost on your tariff. Check the depth and access route before install. Two-year parts and labour warranty covers the cooling system and cabinet components.
