The Polar U-Series DY398 is an open-fronted multideck display fridge — a floor-standing, self-service cabinet built to merchandise chilled stock across four tiered shelves. With no doors between the customer and the product, it's a grab-and-go format that puts packaged chilled lines at eye level, where the pick is quick and an impulse purchase isn't slowed by opening a door. The cabinet is built in stainless steel with 20 mm insulation, so it stands up to the daily pace of busy retail and runs cleanly at a constant +2 to +5 °C.
Day to day it runs as a permanent chilled display. Stock is loaded and faced up from the front, so restocking happens in the aisle without pulling the cabinet apart, and the open front keeps the full range on show through the trading day. The cabinet uses forced-air cooling with an air curtain to hold temperature without doors, so site it away from entrances and draughts — moving air pulls warmth into any open multideck and makes it work harder.
