Why this open fronted multideck fridge earns its place
The Mafirol PESSOA620 SS 1530 is an open-fronted tiered multideck display, 1530 mm wide with a stainless steel exterior. The open front puts stock on show across several tiers with nothing between the customer and the product, which is what makes a multideck the format of choice for grab-and-go chilled lines. At just over a metre and a half wide it gives a shop a full bay of tiered display in one cabinet.
Day to day the cabinet defrosts automatically, so there is no manual defrost cycle for staff to run through a trading day. It is rated to climate class 3, meaning it is built to hold temperature in a controlled indoor retail ambient rather than a hot or draughty position — worth bearing in mind with an open-fronted design, which is more exposed to the room than a glass-door cabinet. Cooling runs on R452a refrigerant.
For installation, plan around 1530 × 620 × 1940 mm (W×D×H) and a gross weight of 285 kg. At nearly two metres tall and over a metre and a half wide it needs its access route and ceiling height checked before delivery, and the 285 kg mass wants a firm, level floor and a proper positioning plan. Refrigerant is R452a and defrost is automatic; the full electrical and shelving spec is in the specification table.
