Why this open fronted multideck fridge earns its place
The Mafirol PESSOA620 is a painted-steel open-fronted multideck display fridge built to merchandise chilled grab-and-go stock in a slim 705 mm width. The open front means no doors between the customer and the product, so shoppers can lift and go, which lifts impulse pick-up on drinks, snacks, dairy and pre-packed chilled lines. At just 705 mm wide it drops into tight aisle ends and short wall runs where a full-width multideck would not fit.
Day to day it runs on R452a refrigerant with automatic defrost, so there is no manual defrost routine to schedule around trading hours. It carries climate class 3, meaning it is rated to hold its display temperature in normal shop-floor ambient conditions. Because the front is open, it works best sited out of direct draughts and away from doorways so the cold air curtain is not disturbed.
The cabinet measures 705 × 620 × 1940 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 140 kg. At 1940 mm tall it is a full-height display, so check ceiling clearance and the head height of every doorway on the delivery route before ordering.
