Why this open fronted multideck fridge earns its place
The BTD200WHV2 is a Blizzard open-front multideck display chiller — a self-contained cabinet that holds chilled stock on open, tiered display with no door between the customer and the shelf. It is built for volume merchandising of grab-and-go ranges: cold drinks, dairy, packaged food and impulse lines kept out front where shoppers reach in and take. This is the format retail floors use when browse-and-grab throughput is the priority.
In use it runs at 0 to +7 °C, the working band for chilled grab-and-go stock, and it is charged with R290, a hydrocarbon refrigerant with low global-warming impact. It is rated to climate class 3, which means it is designed to hold temperature in ambient conditions up to 25 °C — so it stays dependable on a warm, trading shop floor rather than only in a cool room.
At 400 kg this is a heavy, floor-standing cabinet: it needs a solid, level floor and should be manoeuvred and placed by more than one person. Site it away from direct heat and sunlight so the open front is not working against the room, keep the manufacturer's clearances around the body for airflow, and have installation and any R290 gas work carried out by a competent refrigeration engineer.
