Why this open fronted multideck fridge earns its place
The Blizzard BTD100BKV2 is a black open-front multideck display fridge, built to face chilled stock across four tiered open shelves with no door between the customer and the product. The black finish creates a striking contrast backdrop for colourful merchandise, while the 1-metre width (1002 mm) and 2-metre height (2000 mm) fit standard retail bays. That open front drives grab-and-go retail: shoppers pick items straight off the shelf, so the cabinet earns its floor space on pick rate. Load it with drinks, dairy and pre-packed food-to-go.
It holds 440 litres across the display at a temperature band of 0 to +7 °C, which suits chilled grab-and-go stock such as drinks, dairy and pre-packed food kept on show through trading. The cabinet runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with very low global-warming potential, and is rated to climate class 3 for a normally warm retail environment. A digital controller manages temperature precisely.
For installation, plan around the 210 kg weight — position it with handling equipment or several people. Keep it clear of direct heat and draughts that pull warm air into the open front, and confirm the exact footprint and access with Craven Cooling before delivery. The cabinet requires two independent 13amp circuits, so verify electrical supply is in place.
