Why this open fronted multideck fridge earns its place
The BTD100WHV2 is BLIZZARD's 1-metre open-front multideck, a self-service display fridge that puts chilled stock out on four tiered open shelves for customers to pick up as they pass. It measures 1002 mm wide and 2000 mm tall — a footprint that fits most standard retail bays — holding 440 litres across the shelves. With no doors to open, it's built for grab-and-go trade: drinks, dairy, packaged food and food-to-go move fastest when they're on show and within reach. The 1m format slots into a run of chillers or stands alone against a wall.
The cabinet holds a temperature band of 0 to +7 °C, suited to chilled drinks, dairy and packaged food-to-go rather than fresh meat or freezing. It's rated to climate class 3, so it's specified to run in a normally warm shop interior. Cooling uses R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with very low global-warming potential, controlled by a digital thermostat.
As an open-front cabinet it holds its chilled air across the shelf front, so keep it out of draughts and away from direct heat or sunlight to maintain that temperature band efficiently. At 210 kg, plan for delivery access and a level, load-bearing floor — it's robust enough for long hours of grab-and-go traffic but needs a solid foundation. The cabinet runs on two independent 13amp circuits, so confirm electrical supply before positioning. For exact footprint and installation access, confirm against the specification before you commit to a bay.
