Why this open fronted multideck fridge earns its place
The BTD150SSV2 is Blizzard's 1.5m open-front multideck display fridge — a 1520 mm wide, 700 mm deep, 2000 mm high cabinet that puts chilled stock in front of the customer with no doors in the way. Its stainless steel exterior and interior, double-glazed glass side panels and low-profile branding give it a clean retail look, while the 693 litre gross volume and four heavy-duty adjustable shelves give you a serious amount of chilled display space in one run.
The cabinet holds a 0 to +7 °C chilled display, a working band for pre-packed chilled stock rather than a pull-down or storage temperature, so load it with product that is already at temperature. LED lighting to each shelf and the ceiling keeps drinks, dairy, sandwiches and chilled snacks bright from top to bottom, and detachable plastic pricing strips make shelf-edge offers easy to manage.
It runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with a low global warming potential, with digital temperature control and a climate class 3 rating for controlled indoor retail use. The retractable night blind fitted as standard helps protect the display out of hours, while independent power and lighting switches let staff manage refrigeration and presentation separately.
