Why this open fronted multideck fridge earns its place
The BTD130BKV2 is a Blizzard open-front multideck: a self-contained display chiller that puts chilled stock on full, open view with no door between the shopper and the shelf. It is built for volume merchandising of grab-and-go ranges — cold drinks, dairy, packaged food and impulse lines held out front where customers reach in and take. This is the format retail floors run when browse-and-grab throughput matters more than sealed storage.
In use it holds 0 to +7 °C, the working band for chilled grab-and-go stock, and it is charged with R290, a hydrocarbon refrigerant with low global-warming impact. It carries a climate class 3 rating, which means it is designed to hold temperature in ambient conditions up to 25 °C — so it stays dependable on a warm, trading shop floor rather than only in a cool back room.
At 280 kg this is a substantial floor-standing cabinet: plan for a solid, level floor and a placement handled by more than one person. Position it away from direct heat and sunlight so the open front is not fighting the room, keep the manufacturer's clearances around the body for airflow, and have installation and any R290 gas work carried out by a competent refrigeration engineer rather than done in-house.
